Hello all! Our Power Patrol is up and running this school year and activities are well underway! Students are already conducting power audits and have more activities planned for the school year. Teachers, please be prepared to have students in your rooms completing audits and finding ways to save energy!

To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, our P.P. Squad went out and delivered little goodies to all our teachers doing their part to help us save energy. It is just our way of saying we appreciate all that they have been doing to help us save energy.
End of Year

Reminder that with the end of the year just around the corner is an opportunity to help our school save energy by powering down and unplugging all equipment in our classrooms. So, don’t forget to unplug those iPad charging stations, pencil sharpeners, and everything else that needs to be plugged in. Go Tigers!
We are up and running!

This year should be a great year for our school’s Power Patrol. We have some very excited 6th grades kicking it off this year. They have already done their 1st Power Patrol and are excited to learn all that the program will bring.
West is conserving energy!

At West we are working hard on saving energy. Even our students are getting involved and reminding teachers to turn off lights, SMART boards, and other electronics as they leave the classroom. Many of the 6th graders are even involved in helping with Power Audits. It has been a fun time here at West, as everyone is doing their part to help conserve energy!
