Over 40,000 people have taken the People.Power.Planet pledge to cut energy and waste. The pledge is a key component of McKinstry’s powerED program to solicit involvement and engage participants. The majority of these pledges have come from K-12 schools – students and staff – who are participants in the People.Power.Planet campaign. Beginning in early 2014, People.Power.Planet will launch for local governments, achieving additional pledges from employees of cities, counties, and special districts.
